Booking & Policies
THE CONTRACT will be signed by the person booking services for a particular session and will specify the location, date, time, number of persons receiving makeup service, and what time each person will have reserved.
Due to the possibility of scheduling conflicts, additional makeup added after contract signing or changes made to the location, date, and time of the event will be done at the sole discretion of Erin Alonzo.

Parties of 6 (six) or more will require an additional makeup artist and any travel fees requested by that artist will be included in the contract. Services cannot be reduced after signing the contract. Payment is still due in full regardless if a person(s) no longer wishes to have their makeup done. I can add services but not reduce them due to needing to book an additional artist.
Example - If 8 people are scheduled for a wedding, and suddenly 3 people back out for whatever reason, the payment for 8 people is still the full amount due.

This contract is the only agreement between the person(s) booking/contracting the services of Erin Alonzo [hereafter referred to as Client].

BOOKINGS: To secure a date, a signed contract is required with a 30% non-refundable retainer is due at the time of signing. The retainer is non-refundable and non-transferable. Please be advised, dates and scheduled makeup times will only be reserved when a signed contract and retainer are received.
This is the only way to lock in your wedding/event date.
The retainer will be applied toward your makeup services. Your retainer will be NON-refundable for reasons including but not limited to; cancellation of event, date change, family friend doing makeup now, change in services, weather, sickness, etc.

PAYMENT: due in full the day of event
The final balance is due in full – no exceptions. The person(s) responsible for the entire balance of payment is the person(s) who has signed the booking contract.
Acceptable forms of payment are: cash and all major credit/debit cards.
If Client cannot pay for rendered services, the Makeup Artist shall have the option to consider the Client in breach of this Contract and claim a late fee of $45 if not paid in full within 3 days.

CANCELLATIONS:
Cancellations are preferred 21 or more days prior to the booked date, and no less than 14 days before the scheduled event. In the event Client cancels the wedding or event less than 14 days prior to the scheduled date, Client will incur a $40 cancellation fee. (The Makeup artist will now lose out on work and most likely not be able to fill that day with a new client.)
Client will have no further liability to Artist hereunder.
If Makeup Artist cancels at any time or be unable to perform her duties for any reason, 100% of the retainer paid will be refunded within two (2) weeks. Client agrees that the refund of 100% of the retainer is the only liability to Erin Alonzo and House Of Glam By Erin LLC.
Additionally, if the client fails to show up to an appointment or event without contacting Makeup Artist via phone, email, or text message, the client will pay the full amount of services scheduled for.

USE OF IMAGE:
The Makeup Artist shall maintain the right to use on its website – and/or in any brochure, flyer, or other advertising it deems necessary – any and all photographs, video, audio, and any other digitally or chemically stored media that is captured or recorded by Makeup Artist and any and all of its representatives or agents. Client(s) agree to release any and all claims regarding use of his / her image for such purposes.
Client(s) also agrees to release the name and contact information of professional photographers and/or videographers used for recording any event for which the makeup artist has been contracted to do makeup. Client(s) agree to release to House Of Glam By Erin LLC use of said photographers/videographers photographs and recordings.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY: The Makeup Artist confirms that all the brushes, tools, and makeup products are sanitized between every makeup application. Makeup products used are hypoallergenic. Any allergies and/or skin conditions should be reported by the Client to the Makeup Artist prior to application and, if need be, a sample test of makeup may be performed on the skin to test reaction. Client agrees to release the Makeup Artist from liability for any skin complications due to allergic reactions.
